Our Vision:
The Non-Infectious Conditions
Epidemiology unit initiates and directs
epidemiologic investigations and provides:
an independent, non-programmatic, cross-cutting perspective
for program evaluation and identification of
health problems and their determinants;
collaborative leadership in cluster
investigations of non-infectious conditions;
leadership and support for the development of
infrastructure that improves tools and systems
used to collect, analyze, and disseminate data;
a coordinated approach to develop Local Health
Jurisdiction assessment capacity through tools,
training and technical assistance.
