See a health care provider regularly to find out about screening tests and immunizations you might need. Visiting your care provider regularly helps catch health problems early, making them easier to treat. Regular visits also mean you get important preventive care done at the right time.
  • Get regular check-ups, and ask when you need your next appointment. Find out about immunizations and screening tests you might need — such as flu or pneumonia shots, and tests for blood pressure, bone density, cholesterol, cancer, or diabetes.

  • You and you care provider will decide together how often you should be seen, based on your individual health needs.

  • Be sure to see a dentist regularly and take care of your teeth. Your teeth and gums are a very important part of your overall health.
