This poster was first developed by the Department of Social
and Health Services in the late 1980s. It is one of
the most requested publications distributed by the
Department of Health and has been adapted by other states.
The Office of Health Promotion maintains this poster and

Reproductive Health program at the Department of Health, is another one of the
Department of Health's most requested publications. This
updated version includes a section with healthy living
messages for women that were developed using focus groups. The
