This shingle-cut brochure is quick reference guide designed for school staff. The Office of Health Promotion was responsible for researching, writing, editing, design and layout. An updated version is planned for 2009.

 

   

Be a Germbuster: Wash Your Hands

This poster was first developed by the Department of Social and Health Services in the late 1980s. It is one of the most requested publications distributed by the Department of Health and has been adapted by other states. The Office of Health Promotion maintains this poster and oversees translations.


 

Birth Control: Choosing the Method That's Right For You

This shingle-cut brochure, produced by the Family Planning and Reproductive Health program at the Department of Health, is another one of the Department of Health's most requested publications. This updated version includes a section with healthy living messages for women that were developed using focus groups. The Office of Health Promotion provided assistance with audience testing, editing, photography, design and layout.
   
Give Your Baby a Healthy Start

This publication, produced by the WIC (Women, Infants & Children Nutrition) program at the Department of Health, is one of a series of 12 nutrition and child development brochures. Through field testing and evaluation, the Office of Health Promotion helped to adapt and translate this publication into nine languages.
   
Preparing for Pandemic Influenza: A Personal and Family Guide
