The Bright Futures team at the University of Washington is completing the curriculum for trainers of foster parents on how to use Bright Futures in Practice, Mental Health.  After a train-the-trainer session in August 2007, subsequent classes for foster parents will be conducted by Children's Administration, at the Department of Social and Health Services.

The Bright Futures Guidebook for Early Childhood Care and Education, is being distributed from the DOH Office of Maternal and Child Health, Child and Adolescent Health Section.  To order, go to Bright Futures Training Resources. Hundreds of books have been distributed to child care programs, consultants, and policy makers across the country.

The AAP is accepting orders for the Third Edition of Bright Futures Guidelines for Health Supervision of Infants, Children, and Adolescents (best viewed using Internet Explorer).

Bright Futures in Practice, Mental Health, Volumes I and II, are no longer available in hard copy from the NCEMCH or the AAP. Users are being instructed to access the materials online.
