Community Minded
Enterprises
Community Minded Enterprises (CME) is a non-profit organization
that works to improve community health and well-being.
The Disability Initiative at CME ensures that people with disabilities
have equal access to all aspects of community life, including
employment, health, transportation, and recreation. We do this by:
- Strengthening the impact and presence of community members who
have disabilities by organizing the Disability Initiative Advisory
Committee (DIAC).
- Developing programs to decrease barriers affecting quality
of life, health, and well-being of people with disabilities.
- Providing technical assistance and consultation services that
help communities to identify and address issues
affecting people with disabilities.

Olympic
Area Agency on Aging

The Olympic Area Agency on Aging (O3A) coordinates and supports
community services and resources to meet the needs of older adults and
adults with disabilities. O3A supports the Jefferson Disability
Awareness Starts Here (DASH) organization.
DASH in an organization of people, with and without disabilities, who
believe that a disability does not lessen a person's worth, and that
education and advocacy are key to improving community access for people
with disabilities. DASH meets the second Tuesday of every month in

Coastal
Community Action Program

The Coastal Community Action Program (CCAP) is a non-profit organization
that is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life of people in Grays
Harbor and Pacific Counties. With assistance from O3A, CCAP
supports activities of the Mobility Awareness Life-Long Accessibility
Regardless of Disability (MALLARD) project in Grays Harbor.
MALLARD meets the second Thursday of every month in Aberdeen.

Positive Solutions
This non-profit agency is located in Bremerton. The agency empowers
individuals to make educated choices, remove disability-related
barriers, and to enhance their lives through self-advocacy. For
