Gypsy moth infestations annoy people. They litter
parks and yards with:
-
strands of
silk,
-
fecal
droppings,
-
shreds of
wasted leaves,
-
their cast
skins.
During outbreaks of gypsy
moths, skin reactions (wheals, rashes, and itching) are
commonly reported.
