Our Vision

We possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities that help people understand health effects and health risks from exposure to chemicals and toxins. Our work is based on sound science and caring for communities.
Our Mission
The Office of Environmental Health Assessments protects and enhances the health of the people of Washington State by reducing people's exposure to environmental contaminants through education, environmental health assessments, surveillance systems, and recommending strategies.
