Clandestine Drug Lab Legislation

The following links are provided to assist you in finding current and proposed state and federal bills related to clandestine drug labs.

http://thomas.loc.gov/ :  The source of this site is the Library of Congress.

The site searches text of legislation for the current Congress by word/phrase or bill number. This is a "quick and dirty" search for those who do not want to go to the Bill Text search page. Those who want additional search features should use the Bill Text search pages.  The Quick Search of Text of Bills is located just below the THOMAS banner.

http://www1.leg.wa.gov/legislature :  This is the Washington State Legislature's website.

To locate a bill, enter a four-digit bill number (e.g., 1551) or a keyword (e.g., methamphetamine ) in the bill searchbox and press the Search button.

http://www.natlalliance.org/index.asp: This is the National Alliance for Model State Drug Laws (NAMSDL) website.

NAMSDL is a resource for governors, state legislators, attorneys general, drug and alcohol professionals, community leaders, the recovering community, and others striving for comprehensive and effective state drug and alcohol laws, policies, and programs. NAMSDL maintains a list of federal bills related to alcohol and other drug issues on which NAMSDL is assisting states.

http://www2a.cdc.gov/phlp/Methlab.asp:  This site is from the Centers for Disease Control's Public Health Law Program.

The material provides a general overview of selected legislation, ordinances, policies, and regulations that address methamphetamine, the clean up of methamphetamine laboratories, and the public health risks associated with chemical exposure to methamphetamine ingredients. The information is listed by jurisdiction in alphabetical order.
