Welcome to the Department of Health’s Significant Decisions index, headnotes and subject matter index.

Significant Decisions are Health Law Judge Decisions that contain an analysis or decision of substantial importance to the department in carrying out its duties. A decision is “significant” only if it provides a legal analysis or interpretation not found in existing case law, or applies settled law to unusual facts. WAC 246-08-480.
