A New Tool to Combat Human Trafficking in Washington State (369KB PDF)
Pamphlet from the Washington Anti-Trafficking Response Network explains
what human trafficking is, the services provided, important questions, phone numbers and other resources.

March 2006 - Information:

Trafficking Response Team
Victims of human trafficking are persons recruited and transported for purposes of exploitation.  The Trafficking Response Team is available to help when you encounter trafficking.  Assistance in 20 different languages is available.  Call:  (206) 898-4741 9am to 5pm and (206) 467-9976 after 5 pm and weekends.

Research on Trafficking in Human Beings 
The National Institute of Justice (NIJ) is the research, development, and evaluation agency of the U.S. Department of Justice and a component of the Office of Justice Programs. NIJ provides objective, independent, evidence-based knowledge and tools to enhance the administration of justice and public safety.

Trafficking Committee Report 2004
The
2002 Legislature recently passed SHB 2381creating a task force to study trafficking of persons, and to make recommendations to the Governor and Legislature by November 30, 2002.
