Residential Treatment Facility

 Inspections/Surveys:

On-site inspections/surveys are normally performed:

  1. After receipt of an initial application and annually thereafter;

  2. When a complaint, involving health and safety issues, is received; and

  3. When there is a change of ownership, relocation of a facility, or a change in capacity.

A Public Health Advisor and/or Registered Nurse from the department will make an inspection/survey of the facility to determine whether the rules found in chapter 246-337 WAC are being met.  The Public Health Advisor and/or Registered Nurse will provide the facility’s operator with an oral and a written report.
