Prehospital Needs Grant Information
Trauma Care Fund Prehospital Participation Grants for 2007-2009
The Prehospital Needs Grant will not be offered during for the 2007-2009 biennium. We delayed setting the Trauma Care Fund 2007 - 2009 spending plan until the Trauma Cost Study was complete. We would not have been able to administer the grant in the time remaining. With input from the EMS and Trauma Care Steering Committee, we decided to roll the funds into the Prehospital Participation Grants for the 2007 – 2009 biennium. These grants for SFY 2008 and SFY 2009 will be larger than prior years. Trauma verified services can now apply for the state fiscal year 2008 Participation Grant. If all services choose to request the grant, the individual amount will be about $1,594 for SFY08. This grant helps these services meet DOH requirements for prehospital services to the public.
