Senior EMS Instructor - Prerequisite Examination to begin the SEI Qualification Process or Renew as a Senior EMS Instructor

This examination is intended ONLY for individuals completing the prerequisites for Washington State Senior EMS Instructor (SEI) recognition.  DO NOT complete this examination unless you have met all other prerequisites and intend to begin the SEI initial process or renew your SEI recognition.  

Successful completion of the following examination is required as a prerequisite to begin the Initial SEI Qualification process and to receive renewal as an SEI.

This examination may be taken using the reference materials provided and requires 100% correct answers to successfully complete.

An e-mail of your answers will be forwarded to our office for processing.  The results of your examination will be e-mailed to you at the e-mail address provided.

  1. The "License holder" or "applicant" includes Senior EMS Instructors,  applicants for Senior EMS Instructor and those in the process of completing the SEI Qualification Process.

  2. "Disciplinary Authority" means the Department of Health (DOH).

  3. "Substance abuse" means the impairment, as determined by the disciplinary authority, of a license holder's professional services by an addiction to, a dependency on, or the use of alcohol, legend drugs, or controlled substances.
