The WEDSS Steering Committee provides oversight to the Department of Health regarding policy, development and deployment of WEDSS projects. The Steering Committee follows the progress of each project, approves the scope of the systems and makes recommendations to project staff.

The committee membership provides a broad perspective, including representation from both the public health and information technology fields.
